Jonathan Livingstone is a Therapist, Enterprise Coach and Trainer with a background in education.
Over ten years in practice, Jonathan has extensive expertise and experience and has been trained to the highest level. Uniquely, he combines the most effective contemporary therapeutic and coaching methods with Temporal Modelling, his system to identify the sources of issues, to help people resolve the causes of their problems and achieve their goals.
Jonathan trained in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy at N-SHAP, London; and is an NLP master practitioner through NLPU (Santa Cruz, CA, the birthplace of NLP), where he trained with Robert Dilts and Judith DeLozier. He is trained in Three-in-One Concepts (Kinesiology); and is a Touch for Health Instructor and an EFT Trainer.
He is a Founder Member of the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Association and Member of the Complementary Therapists Association. In 2002–4 he served on the policy board of the Kinesiology Federation as an elected director.
Born on the Tana River in Kenya in 1959, Jonathan attended school in Mombassa, the Bahamas, and Bath, Somerset. At the University of Sussex he studied English, BA (Hons), 1981; at UC, Cardiff, he studied Critical Theory, MA, 1985; and at Oxford University gained his English teaching qualification, PGCE, 1990. Before training as a coach and therapist, for seven years Jonathan taught English and Philosophy at a sixth-form college in Hampshire. Previously, he worked as a Parentline volunteer in Oxford.
He first began hypnotizing people when he was 11 years old. Ever since, he has been interested in psychological and emotional issues and personal development.
Jonathan is married to Elizabeth King, principal of training and development, Dr.Hauschka (UK) (www.drhauschka.co.uk) and has two grown-up sons and baby Abigail, born 28 September 2007.
